Event Type

Close to the end of her life, Sharon Bond was engaged in co-editing, with Teresa Pacchiega, a special edition of Context magazine on the theme of siblings.  Siblings mattered to Sharon, personally and professionally, and we offer this workshop to honour her life and work and grow her legacy.  Teresa has taken the editorial task to completion with Sharon’s voice ever-present. The special edition of Context will appear in February 2027.

In this workshop, we are delighted to welcome our keynote speaker, Dr Taiwo Afuape.  Contributors to the special sibling edition will share their work with us. Our aim is to create an interactive and participatory event that will include group discussions, reflective exercises and sharing of practice and perspectives in a warm and creative atmosphere.  Our intention is to build on and carry forward Sharon’s contribution to our field.
